Deskless Works, LLC ("Deskless Works," "we," "us," or "our") provides done-for-you social media scheduling, website, and content services for businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including data we access from your connected Instagram and Facebook accounts.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account & contact details — your name, business name, email address, and phone number.
• Business profile — how your business sounds (brand voice), your customers, hashtags, colors, and preferences you set during onboarding.
• Media — the photos and videos you upload or send us to post on your behalf.
• Payment information — processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.

Information from connected platforms (Instagram & Facebook)

When you connect a social account, you authorize us through the platform's official login. With your permission we access only what is needed to schedule and publish your content, which may include:

• Your Instagram Business/Creator account and connected Facebook Page identifiers and names.
• The ability to publish posts, Reels, and stories you have approved.
• Basic engagement metrics (such as likes, comments, and reach) for content we post, used to report performance back to you.
• Access tokens that let us publish on your behalf. We never receive or store your Instagram or Facebook password.

Information collected automatically

• Basic usage and log data (for example, pages loaded and actions taken in your dashboard).
• A single sign-in cookie used to keep you logged into the portal. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

2. How we use your information

• To provide the service — scheduling and publishing your posts to your connected accounts.
• To generate captions and hashtags in your brand voice using AI, and to create imagery where included in your plan.
• To build, host, and keep your website current where included in your plan.
• To report performance, provide support, process payments, and improve our service.
• To send you service-related messages (for example, confirmations or account notices).

3. How we share information (service providers)

We share information only with the providers needed to run the service, each bound to protect it:

• Meta Platforms (Instagram & Facebook) — to publish and manage your content via their official APIs.
• Cloudinary — to securely store and deliver your photos and videos.
• Anthropic — to generate captions and hashtags from your content and brand voice.
• Google — to store your content queue and, where applicable, manage a connected Google Business Profile.
• Our hosting and payment providers — to run the platform and process subscriptions.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Deskless Works, our clients, or others.

4. Our use of Meta data

Our use and transfer of information received from Meta APIs adheres to the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, including any limited-use requirements. We access this data only to provide the features you have connected, keep it only as long as needed for those features, and delete it when you disconnect an account or close your account.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you close your account or request deletion, we delete your personal information and revoke stored access tokens within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

6. Security

We protect your information with access controls, encrypted connections, and restricted access to social access tokens. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and limit who can access it.

7. Your rights and choices

• Access & correction — you can view and update your business profile from your dashboard, or ask us to help.
• Disconnect — you can remove a connected Instagram or Facebook account at any time from your dashboard, or from Instagram/Facebook settings, which revokes our access.
• Deletion — you can request deletion of your data at any time. See our Data Deletion page for how.

8. Children

Our service is intended for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
